Hosts Anna Davalos and Ashley Bernardi Tackle Topics On Boundaries, Rejection, Social Media, & More In Season One Of New Podcast

Alexandria, VA - Veteran news journalists and entrepreneurs Ashley Bernardi and Anna Davalos have launched the new podcast “2 Girls Talking†to address the dizzying world of entrepreneurship, raising families, and attempting to stay sane as mothers, wives, and business owners.

As friends, former journalists, and working moms, Ashley and Anna started their businesses at the same time, and together maneuvered the world of entrepreneurship, all while managing households, kids, and marriage. Season one of 2 Girls Talking will address issues that Ashley and Anna believe many women, mothers, and business owners face on a daily basis - including boundaries, rejection, self care, social media, and business mistakes. A new episode will be released once every two weeks.

“Our lives are crazy as we live our dreams of entrepreneurship and raising a family. Sometimes those worlds collide, sometimes they co-exist and some rare times they work together. And that’s why we wanted to talk about it,†says Bernardi.

“We know we’re not the only business owners and parents who have these questions and struggles, so we decided to talk about them. We talk about anything and everything: our businesses, our kids, our lives, and how work affects our lives,†says Anna.

2 Girls Talking is available on iTunes, Tunein, Google Play, and Podbean. Look for the “2 Girls Talking†logo, leave a review, and subscribe. The podcast is accepting guest recommendations. Email [email protected].

ABOUT ASHLEY

Ashley knows how to get a story out to the masses. For years she was the producer booking guests for The Early Show at CBS News. She has more than a decade of experience as a booking producer for national television shows and online programs, such as Energy Now!, where she met Anna and the two have been talking ever since. Then she took her talents to the other side of media and opened Nardi Media.

As founder and Director of Media Relations of Nardi Media she focuses on media relations, with an expertise in broadcast, print and online press, and loves working with non-fiction book authors on publicizing their book launches. And of course, never misses a chance to build relationships with reporters and producers. Ashley has helped her author clients grow from zero exposure to household names with placements from the TODAY Show, Good Morning America, The New York Times, and People Magazine, to name a few!

But Ashley’s real passion is her family; three girls under 10 keep her on her toes! She loves to cook too and even hosted her own cooking show, Pots and Pans! So where does she find the time to be a regularly featured guest on television stations in Washington, DC? Who knows? But she does!

Now you can hear her tell you all about it on Two Girls Talking!

ABOUT ANNA

Anna Davalos has always been a creator. At an early age she won an art contest then transferred her talents to the writing field. And in college she focused on video and broadcasting. She is an Emmy award-winning producer with more than 20 years of experience in video production. Anna began her career as a small-market producer before working her way up to national-level assignments (read worked long hours, low pay and still loved all the experiences she's had) During an eight-year stint as a freelance producer, she was intricately involved in the writing, producing, editing and other elements of a wide variety of television and cable network news productions. She moved to online media in 2006 with the Associated Press before she became the Executive Producer of nationally syndicated EnergyNOW news magazine. Where she met Ashley and the two have been talking ever since (just ask their husbands)

But then she decided to take a step back from the fast paced world and start a business, she says with tongue firmly planted in cheek. Now Anna owns and runs Alejo Media, creating marketing videos for corporations, non-profits and individuals. She has a great team she works with to find the right way to put your story together. She also worked with the team behind "Pushers", a comedy web series about the lives and good times of pharmaceutical representatives (and I have to admit, it's pretty funny!). Of course, her biggest production is her husband, kids, and an incredibly annoying, loud dog.

All the while talking constantly with Ashley.
