Meet Ashley Bernardi

Founder and Director of Media Relations

Veteran news booker and producer Ashley Bernardi created Nardi Media, LLC, in 2015, a culmination of over a decade of booking and producing experience television broadcasting, satellite media tours, radio tours, media strategy, and logistics. More important than her lengthy list of accolades—which include serving as a top booker for The Early Show on CBS News, the Senior Booker and Producer for energyNOW! on Bloomberg TV, Washington Post Live, and hosting a cooking show—is her passion for publicity. It has not only fueled her own career and business launch, but the successes of every author, personality, company, and organization she has ever promoted.

Her experience is steeped in journalism, which means research is a second language and creating connections with audiences is a close third. “I’ve worked with Heads of State, celebrities, lawmakers, and best-selling authors, and I get inspired by the work they do,” adds Bernardi. “I feel most alive when I’m doing radio media tours or watching my clients nail their interviews in television studios. There’s nothing like having a client with a message that could change hearts, change lives, or change the world—and giving them a microphone.”

Ashley Bernardi has helped clients grow from zero exposure to household names on the New York Times Best Sellers list. She enjoys helping book authors, celebrities, non-profit organizations, and national brands increase their exposure, credibility, and potential for new opportunities. You’ll find the results of her infectious energy on The Doctors, CBS This Morning, TODAY Show, Good Morning America, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, goop, Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, Fox News, NBC News, MSNBC, and NPR.

Ashey hosts the award-winning podcast 2 Girls Talking with her friend Anna Davalos, founder of Alejo Media. "The biggest piece of advice a first-time author is given is to “hire your own publicist,” but what they don’t tell you is to “hire your own Ashley.”  Looking back, I don’t know how I could have released my book without Ashley & her team.  We started working together before the book was published.  First local TV and small blogs and as I got more seasoned and the book got closer to coming, she booked me appearances on bigger and bigger outlets.

“I am so pleased that Ashley is embarking on this new venture. For many years she has shined as an outstanding booker and producer at CBS News and at start-ups including Clean Skies News.  She was my first hire at Clean Skies, and was the shining star among the pack. She has always had  tremendous dedication to her work, and an untiring ability to accomplish whatever faces her, letting no obstacle stand in the way of an outstanding product.  She consistently goes above and beyond expectations, and never takes “no” as an answer, and never settles for less than outstanding. I would hire Ashley again. And again. And again.”
