Having grown up in a family of builders, award-winning Bethany Beach builder Marnie Oursler of Marnie Custom Homes has used her pedigree to give outdated beach homes a new lease on life for years. Now, she’ll continue to rebuild and renovate homes with a nationwide audience. Oursler will star in the new television series “Big Beach Builds”, which will air on DIY Network, where she will be renovating old beach homes along the east coast. From gorgeous decks that make the most of ocean views, to beach glass inspired kitchens and customized sand-friendly spaces, she’s taking classic beach houses that have been around forever and giving them modern updates while still preserving their charm. Whether you have all the money in the world, or a modest budget, Marnie is sure to make your dream home a reality in this new television series.
“I am so excited to embark on this new adventure that combines my love for building with reality television,” says Oursler, “I can’t wait to share my love and passion for building beach houses with an audience who loves to see that it is possible to take an old beach home and make it new again, all while preserving its charm!”
